Evidmere

About

Proprietary software that holds every review to one standard.

Evidmere's reviews are produced by software Evidmere built: specialised components using artificial intelligence, each with one job, working inside a written method.

Every review is directed and signed off by Julian Skeels, Evidmere's founder: thirty years in investment banking, and more than ten advising boards and investors on strategy.

The components

  • Researchers: the market, the precedents, the comparable companies and the buyers.
  • Modellers: the returns on one basis, the funding and the joint adverse stress.
  • Writers: one page each, to a fixed form, from figures they did not produce.
  • Checkers: automatic checks on every page and every figure. The checks establish consistency and provenance; they do not establish that a recommendation will work.
  • Readers: two cold readings by readers that have seen none of the work, followed by Julian Skeels's sign-off.

How company information is handled

Information is received under a confidentiality agreement and held by Evidmere. It is processed by the artificial intelligence models Evidmere uses under enterprise terms that do not permit its use for training. It is not published, resold or shared with any other client, and nothing from one engagement is used in another. On request, the working papers behind every figure are available to the client, and the information is returned or destroyed at the end of the engagement.
